Housewood values your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need to (improve) our services and carefully handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.
This Privacy Policy applies to the use of Housewood’s website and services available thereon. These terms and conditions came into force on October 1, 2020, and with the publication of a new version, all previous versions become invalid. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect about you, what that information is used for, and under what conditions, if any, that information may be disclosed to third parties. We will also explain to you how we store your data, how we protect it from misuse and what rights you have in relation to the personal data you provide.

Webshop Software
MyOnlineStore
Our webshop was developed with software from MyOnlineStore. Personal data that you provide to us as part of our services will be shared with this provider. MyOnlineStore has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purposes. MyOnlineStore is obliged to take appropriate security measures due to the agreement concluded with them. MyOnlineStore uses cookies to collect technical information related to your use of the software. No personal data is collected and/or stored.
Email and mailing lists
MailChimp
We send our email newsletters with MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the end of every email sent automatically via our website you will find the “Unsubscribe” link. You will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal information is stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other Internet technologies to determine whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your information to further improve the Service and, if necessary, share this information with third parties.
Gmail
We use Gmail services for our regular business email correspondence. This provider has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to largely prevent misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data. Gmail does not have access to our mailbox and we keep our email correspondence confidential.
Payment processor
Mollie
We use the Mollie platform to process (part of) the payments in our web shop. Mollie processes your name, address and place of residence as well as your payment details such as your bank details or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and, if necessary, to share this information with third parties (anonymized). All of the above safeguards relating to the protection of your personal data also apply to those parts of Mollie’s services for which they use third parties. Mollie will not store your data longer than is permitted by law.
Reviews
WebwinkelKeur
We collect reviews via the WebwinkelKeur platform. When you leave a review about WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide your name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this data with us so that we can assign the rating to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide further information about your review. When we invite you to submit a review, we share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They use this data exclusively to invite you to submit a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to use third parties to provide its services, for which we have given WebwinkelKeur permission. EXAMPLE: When you place an order with us, it is our job to deliver your package. We use Boonstra’s services to make deliveries. This requires us to share your name, address and place of residence with Boonstra. Boonstra only uses this data to fulfill the contract. If Boonstra uses subcontractors, Boonstra will also make your data available to these parties.

We use MoneyBird services for our bookkeeping and bookkeeping.

Retention periods
We store your data for as long as you are our customer. This means that we store your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you tell us this, we will also treat it as a request to be forgotten. However, employees no longer have access to your customer profile and the documents we have created in connection with your order.
