Environmentally responsible alternative to hardwood

Thermo Ash wood falls under durability class I. The wood remains dimensionally stable, sturdy, and has a warm color. Without treatment, it develops a beautiful, even grey patina. It is easy to work with, entirely free of defects, and suitable for circular facade cladding. Additionally, it can be applied with an invisible fastening system.

European & thermally modified

The wood comes from sustainably managed forests in Europe and undergoes thermal treatment without the addition of chemicals, being heated to at least 215 °C with steam to prevent cracks and splits in the wood. This heat treatment makes the ash wood durable. After thermal treatment, thermal ash wood is comparable to tropical hardwood of durability class 1. It not only offers increased durability but also improved dimensional stability and better resistance to moisture and wood rot. The warm color of thermal ash gracefully and evenly weathers under the influence of weather and wind.
