We offer rough ayous in a wide range of dimensions in addition to the various profiles.
We offer both untreated Ayous/Abachi and the thermally modified variant, also known as Thermo Ayous. Ayous is very easy to work with. You can plane, saw, and install the wood yourself without the need for professional equipment.
We have various cross-sections available.
Thicknesses – Rough Ayous
The thicknesses we offer range from 20 to 105 mm.
Standard sizes:
20, 26, 33, 40, 46, 52, 65, and 80 mm
Widths – Rough Ayous
The widths we offer range from 80 up to 410 mm (!!).
Standard trade sizes:
80, 105, 130, 155, 180, 205, 240, 270, 305, 360, 410 mm
Lengths – Rough Ayous
The lengths of rough Ayous also vary. Standard trade lengths typically increase in increments of 300 mm.
The shortest lengths are 1850 mm, and the longest lengths go up to 6050 mm. The most commonly available trade lengths run up to 4550 mm. Longer lengths are available in more limited quantities.

Characteristics of rough ayous:
Durability: Rough Ayous is known for its durability, even in humid environments. Untreated Ayous is therefore one of the most commonly used wood species for sauna interiors.
