Beneath the coffee bar at the Suikerunie site in Groningen, KOSU Coffee Roastery chose Fraké Ecopanels. Made from spacer battens originally used for stacking wood, this solution gives new life to materials that would otherwise go to waste. Fully circular, highly durable, and truly sustainable.
Since 2023, KOSU has been located at the Suikerunie site in Groningen. When designing the interior of the coffee roastery and workshop space, the choice fell on our Fraké Ecopanels: a unique, circular solution that perfectly aligns with KOSU’s sustainable vision.
Thanks to the smart Ecopanel construction, installation was quick and straightforward. In addition, Fraké panels are suitable for both interior and exterior applications, something this project clearly demonstrates.
The result is a warm and inviting space where natural materials tell a story. The combination of sustainable coffee, circular materials, and the character of the Suikerunie site makes this a truly inspiring project.
