Are you cut from the right wood? We fully serve the Dutch and Belgian markets, with a focus on Northern Germany and the Netherlands, from our brand-new office at the “Suikerterrein” in Groningen. Are you the down-to-earth sales talent looking to work for a fast-growing (online) timber trade? Do you already have sales experience and are you ready for the next step? At Housewood, we are looking for a (Junior) Inside Sales Account Manager.

What will you do? You will advise construction companies—from small to large—to find the right solution for their projects in the field of custom wood cladding. Together with the customers, you will identify specific needs regarding sustainability, profile, and delivery, and create a tailor-made proposal. You have the freedom to follow your own plan; we value independence. You will build a fast-growing database of prospects and customers (including through online lead generation) to achieve your commercial goals. You will step into ongoing sales processes and also expand your own opportunities through (telephone) acquisition. In addition to sales, you are responsible for the project management of your accounts—you are involved in the entire construction project from A to Z. You conduct negotiations, engage in (cold) calling, and generate new business. You listen to the customers’ wishes and respond with customized proposals. Together with the owner and the sales team, you will shape your own role. We look at your interests and strengths to ensure the tasks make us both happy.

Who are you? You have a passion for wood. Winning large projects gives you energy, and you see it as a challenge to lead every construction project to success. You speak the language of our customers: construction companies, landscapers, and other professional businesses working with wood. You are an energetic personality who sees opportunities everywhere and isn’t afraid to seize them. You enjoy opening doors with new customers and are a strong negotiator. As an Account Manager at Housewood, you work with the finest timber—for individuals building their dream home to massive construction projects in the commercial market. Your creativity and judgment will serve you well in the sales processes.

Furthermore, you bring:

  • A love for wood.

  • Experience in sales.

  • Independence and flexibility.

  • Good knowledge of the Dutch language (German/English are a plus).

  • Experience in the construction industry is an advantage.

Who are we? Housewood is a young online timber trade founded in 2020. With Housewood.nl and Ayous.nl, we successfully serve the market in the field of custom, sustainable wood cladding. Customer wishes are central to every project, and together we look for the best type of wood and the right profile. You will work in a sociable, close-knit, and small team with highly motivated colleagues. At the start of the week, you discuss the goals. At Housewood, we work with passion every day on sustainable wood solutions for projects both at home and abroad. We are growing fast and are therefore looking for an enthusiastic Inside Sales Representative who loves wood, connecting with people, and honest products.

What will you do? As an Inside Sales Representative, you are the link between our customers, the warehouse, and the rest of the sales team. You advise architects, contractors, and private individuals on our wood types and products, create quotes, and ensure that everything from order to delivery is perfectly arranged.

  • Advising customers (by phone, in our showroom, and via email)

  • Creating and following up on quotes

  • Order processing and coordination with logistics

  • Supporting the sales and marketing team

Who are you?

  • You have an affinity for wood, sustainability, and design.

  • You work in a structured manner and have strong communication skills.

  • You enjoy personal contact and like helping customers.

  • You speak and write Dutch well (English or German is a plus).

  • Experience in sales, construction, or the timber industry is an advantage, but not a must.
