Thermally modified bamboo façade cladding with excellent properties

The solid façade cladding profiles made from thermally modified bamboo are manufactured from bamboo strips that undergo a pressing and thermal treatment at 200°C. This unique heat treatment, completely without the use of chemical substances, results in increased stability, density, and hardness of the bamboo planks. The thermal bamboo façade cladding belongs to durability class 1 and meets fire safety class B-s1-d0 (EN 13501-1). This makes it extremely suitable for buildings with strict fire safety requirements, such as apartments and commercial properties. Like all hardwoods, thermal bamboo develops a beautiful natural graying over time, contributing to its attractive appearance.
