For this project, a combination of two types of wood was chosen.
The facade of the house is clad with Thermally Modified Ash in a Double Rhombus profile using secret nailing. The garage is clad with Lunawood (Thermo Pine) in a Channelsiding secret nailing profile, which is coated in black.
This combination creates a sleek and warm contrast.
Both the ash and the pine/spruce wood are supplied in a Secret Nailing profile. This creates an exceptionally clean and understated finish.
Thermo-treated ash is durable, dimensionally stable, and weather-resistant. When left untreated, it weathers to a grayish hue over time.
The Lunawood is brushed, which allows it to absorb the black oil effectively.
