This home in Groningen is clad with Thermo Fraké in a sleek shiplap profile, creating a contemporary and calm appearance. The façade consists of boards in three widths: 20×68mm, 20×92mm, and 20×142mm, which creates a varied effect. The shiplap profile forms a seamless overlap and a clean horizontal look, while the natural grain of the Fraké remains beautifully visible. For the installation, we also supplied dome-head nails, which provide a neat and careful finish.
Fraké wood falls into durability class 1–2, making it highly resistant to moisture, fungi, and insects. Thanks to the thermal modification, the wood remains dimensionally stable and low-maintenance, allowing it to retain its quality and appearance for many years.
Together, this creates a modern, warm, and durable wooden home, where natural materials, high-quality details, and carefully selected finishes come together perfectly.
