For the temporary housing modules, HDO Groep chose a façade finish in Thermo Ayous with the Triple Rhombus profile (21×130 mm). The modules provide a modern, sustainable living solution, with the wood offering a sleek, uniform appearance thanks to the pre-greyed finish.
For this project, Thermo Ayous in fire class B was chosen, offering an excellent balance of aesthetics, safety, and durability. The pre-greyed finish provides an immediate, even natural color, giving all units a uniform appearance at once.
Thermo Ayous is lightweight, dimensionally stable, and, thanks to thermal modification, particularly suitable for prefab construction. The fire class B treatment makes the material suitable for residential and public projects where enhanced fire safety is required.
Using the Triple Rhombus profile creates a modern look that complements the modular architecture.
