For this ceiling, Thermo Ayous was chosen in the Flexlines profile with board dimensions of 20×60mm in varying lengths. The wood was treated with Woca Diamond Oil Natural, which preserves its original color.

The Thermo Ayous wood in varying lengths creates a beautiful effect. It is the most efficient way to arrange the boards and also the most cost-effective method.
Indoors, wood can yellow over time, partly due to artificial light. By treating the wood with oil, the original warm color is fixed. At the same time, the oil gives the Ayous a subtle, natural sheen, adding extra depth and character to the material.
For this ceiling, short lengths were chosen, but it is also possible to combine different widths and lengths. In this project, the short lengths create a playful surface.
