Made from African Fraké wood that reaches durability class I/II through thermal modification. When left untreated, it develops a beautiful, even grey patina over time. To maintain its original warm colour, a UV-protective finish can be applied.

What is Thermo Fraké?

Thermo Fraké is sustainably enhanced tropical wood sourced from the African Fraké tree (Limba). Through a chemical-free thermal modification process, the wood is heated to approximately 215°C, significantly improving durability, dimensional stability, and natural resistance to moisture and fungi. It combines the warm appearance of tropical hardwood with an environmentally friendly production process — ideal for sustainable architectural projects.
