Thermo Bamboo is produced through an innovative manufacturing process. During production, bamboo fibers are compressed under high pressure and thermally modified at approximately 200°C. This process results in a dense, stable, and exceptionally strong end product. The unique combination of strength, dimensional stability, and durability makes thermally modified bamboo highly suitable for outdoor applications such as decking and façade cladding. Clips are used during the installation of both façade boards and decking boards, ensuring a secure and clean finish.

Why is bamboo a sustainable choice?

Although bamboo is not naturally durable, the high-temperature treatment makes it stable and suitable for long-term outdoor use. Thermally modified bamboo achieves exceptional durability and quality, comparable to the best tropical hardwood species.

Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants in the world, capable of growing several tens of centimeters per day. Under normal conditions, bamboo can be harvested within five years. After harvesting, new shoots immediately grow from the existing root system, making bamboo a sustainable and renewable resource for production.
