For this project, a combination of two wood species was chosen.
The façade of the house is clad with thermally modified Ash in a Double Rhombus profile, Secret Nailing.
The garage is clad with Lunawood (thermally modified pine) in a Channel Siding profile, Secret Nailing, with a black coating.
This combination creates a clear and warm contrast.
Both the ash and the pine/spruce wood were supplied in a Secret Nailing profile. This results in an especially clean and calm overall look.
Thermo Ash is durable, dimensionally stable, and weather-resistant. Left untreated, it will grey naturally under weather exposure.
The Lunawood is brushed, which allows it to absorb the black oil well.
