Treatment
Can be used untreated. It weathers to a beautiful silver-gray color.
Various treatments are available to preserve the reddish-brown color, such as exterior oil, which maintains the wood’s natural appearance. The wood can also be treated with a stain.
Impregnation: An alternative method to prevent the wood from graying is pressure impregnation.
