🪵 Tongue & groove for a seamless, closed façade
✨ Sleek triple rhombus profile with depth and clean lines
🌦️ Resistant to moisture, fungi and insects
♻️ Locally produced in Europe
🏡 Suitable for horizontal and vertical installation
Thermally modified Poplar is a stylish and sustainable wood species, ideal for modern façade cladding. This version features the popular Triple Rhombus profile with tongue and groove, ensuring a seamless and closed finish. The slats create a refined linear pattern with depth, suitable for both horizontal and vertical applications.
Thanks to the thermal treatment, the wood becomes highly stable and durable (Class 1–2), with a lifespan of approximately 20–25 years untreated. Its natural golden-brown color ages evenly into an elegant silver-grey tone, resulting in a vibrant yet low-maintenance façade.
Produced locally in Europe (France, Germany or the Netherlands), Thermo Poplar is virtually knot-free — offering a much cleaner appearance than Pine or Spruce — and provides the same price-quality level as Thermo Ayous.
What is Poplar?
Poplar is a European hardwood sourced from sustainably managed forests. Through a chemical-free thermal modification process, this lightweight wood becomes significantly more durable and weather-resistant. Stable, easy to process, and nearly knot-free, Thermo Poplar is an excellent local alternative to tropical hardwoods for high-quality, contemporary façade projects.
